Job Title : Press Operator
Job Description
The Press Brake operator is responsible for set-up and operation of press brake equipment per specifications and standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Performs set-ups and training for machine operators.
- Operates forming equipment, troubleshoots and makes adjustments to programs and equipment as necessary.
- Completes essential documents per standard operation procedures.
- Develops and maintains program files, tooling library and racks.
Hard Skills
- 2 or more years of experience in a metal manufacturing operating a Press Brake (the person or Salvagnini preferred)
- 2 or more years of experience with fabricating
- Ability to differentiate colors
- Use basic hand tools
- Read engineering blueprints
- Bill of materials
Work Environment
The facility is larger split up between assembly / warehouse, lab setting for circuit board manufacturing and then fabrication.
All is well lit, clean and organized, including the fabrication area.
