Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking an Director of Emergency Services and Urgent Care to join our friendly, hard-working team.
- This is a salaried, exempt, full-time position, Monday-Friday, but the Director is accountable for units 24 / 7
- Onsite at hospital
- The base rate starts at $40.65 / hr to $50.78 / hr based on experience
- This is a working Director role meaning that the director will provide coverage in the unit if needed

Our Desired Candidate Will Have
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Must hold an active, in good standing RN license for the state of Ohio.
- Must have a BSN or obtain within 2 years of hire.
- A minimum of three years of Emergency Room experience.Urgent Care experience is a plus.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
- Must be competent to participate in the formulation of the patient's comprehensive treatment plan, provide skilled nursing care and therapy, and to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care provided.
- Empathy for the needs of patients.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate through spoken and written English.
- Detail oriented, with ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to apply sound judgment with clinical skills for optimal patient care.
- Demonstrates flexibility by accepting and supporting changes in work assignments as related to department and patient needs.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficient in working with all ages and patient populations.
- Knowledge of appropriate equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective patient outcomes.
