The Operational Excellence project manager role will partner with our Global Business Services organization to drive process improvement and overall operational excellence within Philips through standardizing work, organizing Kaizen events, and conducting productivity coaching sessions.
In addition, this individual will focus on continuous improvements in the GBS Nashville organization.
Your role (Hybrid - 3d working from the office and 2d working from home) :
Implementation and support performance metrics to provide the Global Business Services (GBS) leadership team the necessary insights to drive performance to meet customer needs and expectations in a shared services environment.
Drive continuous improvement efforts in the hub through standardization of processes via end-to-end optimization, lean, advanced technologies, and digitalization of GBS functions.
Develop and coach the value stream team members on daily management and Pride problem-solving techniques.
Work closely with the process lead and functional leaders to drive cross value chain end-to-end integration.
Provide Lean Basics and problem-solving training for the Nashville hub as scheduled by the Hub leadership team.
Partner with other Operational Excellence team members and business leaders to conduct Kaizen events and various Lean brainstorming and whiteboard sessions.
Partner with the Operational Excellence team to track Continuous Improvement projects within the hub.
You're the right fit if :
You have a bachelor's degree and Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement experience preferred. PMI / PMP certification or working towards certification a plus.
You've 2+ years of experience successfully leading complex programs, projects, improvements, and initiatives using a structured approach.
You have experience in implementing daily management, problem-solving, and applying Change Management methodology.
You are a subject matter expert in all phases of development, launch, and maintenance including voice of the customer, requirements generation, design controls, verification, validation, usability, process validation, service, and support-readiness.
