Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 766 licensed bedsUnit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : We have a large PACU space on B1 and C Basment.

As staffing allows we place most pediatric patients in the C Basement. Each station is well equipped. We have negative pressure rooms to use as needed on both floors.

Type of equipment : Documentation system : paper / SoarianScheduling requirements : 3- 12 hour shifts Monday thru Friday Cannot guarantee the days will be in a rowFloating policy : to areas with competency.

PACU generally speaking does not float. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holesPatient Experience requirements : 1 year of PACU experience required, ICU experience is very helpfulAdvanced skills needed : Able to care for all age groups is preferred.

Able to care for a patient on a ventilator.Hospital Specifics-Certifications : Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult);

Children’s Hospital within a hospital. Must have ACLS and for peds PALS
