National Account Manager - Cox Communities

Cox Communications is seeking a National Account Manager . As the National Account Manager, you willplay a pivotal role in the creation and implementation ofcompanywide sales and marketing strategies to drive sales andrevenue with Cox's IoT solutions across all potential large MDUPortfolio customers through leadership and system collaboration,evaluation of frontline needs, packaging products, and owning thecustomer experience throughout the salesprocess.

The National AccountManager is responsible for developing,implementing, and measuring Multi Dwelling Unit(MDU) resident IoT solutions sales strategies andgoals designed to retain / improve customer loyalty and grow marketshare for all products and increase revenue in large MDUportfolios.

Responsible for overall companywide leadership,management, and performance of MDU NationalPortfolio Accounts to retain and generate revenuethrough the establishment of long-term relationships with builders,developers, property owners, managers, and on-sitepersonnel.

The Cox Communities team acts as their client'strusted advisor by supporting them in reaching their business goalsof optimizing rents, occupancy, and future proofing theirproperties.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for selling Cox's IoT solutions within our regionalrelationships and assigned customers; identifying opportunities tomaintain and grow revenue to meet business objectives.
  • Responsible for the account revenue base and identifyingthe appropriate action to protect and grow it.
  • Defines and implements the wholesale account strategyfor assigned strategic accounts; collaborates with the broader teamto execute plans and tactics.

Account strategy includes theestablishment of Executive Account briefings, show / event presence,and driving of media / PR visibility.

  • Providesleadership, vision, and initially, dotted line development for theaccount executives establishing relationships with National Accountcustomers locally for the purpose of satisfying customers andexceeding company revenue objectives.
  • Helpsset objectives for Account Executives to ensure achievement ofNational Account Strategy goals by monitoring performance,providing training, feedback, coaching, counseling, and evaluatingperformance.
  • Cultivates executive-levelrelationships within customer's organization, develops and deliverspresentations as needed.
  • Supports and leadscompetitive field efforts through the implementation of acquisitionand win-back tactics as directed.

Proactively identifies strategiesand plans to address competitor activity in a very fluid,competitive market. Remains current on competitor activities,pricing, and product offerings, negotiation offers to highlightCCI's competitive advantages.

  • Partnersclosely with Field Sales and Business Operations on planning andbudgeting for functions. Partners with Pricing and Marketing tofinalize profitable target offers and specials for large MDUcustomers.
  • Serves as primary contact and escalation point forassigned National Accounts ensuring timely resolution of issues,build out, product delivery and relationship strength.
  • Analyzes Return on Investment of various businessscenarios; ensures that decisions align with CCI's best interests.Develops business cases to support recommendations.
  • Develops and administers sales plans includingidentification of objectives and action programs to achieve overallbusiness goals.

Conducts tactical planning, standardized reporting,and feedback on effectiveness of existing sales plans.

  • Work with Product Management & Mgr., Large CustomerMDU Marketing to improve experience and drive increased resident / property owner loyalty.
  • Work across internaland external teams to develop strategies, identify best practicesand recommend improvements to training, systems andprocesses.
  • Develops strong relationships withC-level officers (internal and external customers).

Who You Are

Minimum

Bachelor'sdegree in a related discipline and 6years'experience in a relatedfield. The right candidate could also have a different combination,such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience;

a Ph.D. and 1year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a relatedfield.

Safe drivers needed; valid driver'slicense required.

Preferred

  • BA / BSdegree.
  • Demonstrated ability to read andinterpret business to business contracts.
  • Good working knowledge of communications technologies.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a managementrole.
  • 5 years of business-to-business newbusiness development experience.
  • Experiencein the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience with various Industry events like NAHB IBS, BIAOC,BIASD, BIASC, HBACA, SNHBA.
  • Familiar withcurrent Industry trends and competitive pressures.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with all affected internalteams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strongrelationships and deal well with conflict.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communicationskills.
  • Experience in complex large customernegotiations and sales.

USD 105,000.00 - 157,600.00 peryear

Compensation :

Compensationincludes a base salary of $105,000.00 - $157,600.00. The salaryrate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such asthe ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate'sexperience.

In addition to the salary range identified herein, thisrole is also eligible for an annual incentive / commission target of$54,300.00.
