Job Description :
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student development
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ functional abilities and challenges
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to support students’ occupational therapy needs
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of Nevada
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
