About The Goddard School

If you want to be in the classroom but still have the flexibility to put your kids on and off the bus every day, we have the perfect teaching position for you! Work for a well-known and respected private, state-certified Kindergarten program in the Cumberland Valley school district. The hours are 9am-3pm Monday through Friday.

Qualifications :

As a state certified, private Kindergarten program, candidates MUST have the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary education
  • Pennsylvania Teaching Certification
  • Responsibilities :

  • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
  • Advance and assess children’s physical, social and intellectual abilities through execution of lesson plans
  • Establish positive student and family relationships through professional communication
  • Encourage creativity through science, technology, engineering, art, and music
