Position Summary :

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Staff Physical Therapist, Woodhull.

In this role, the successful candidate Upon referral by a licensed Physician, administer physical therapy at NYU Langone Woodhull and related facilities as necessary.

Job Responsibilities :

• Treats and takes measures to prevent disability or other health conditions using physical, chemical and mechanical means, such as heat, cold, light, water, sound, electricity, massage, mobilization and therapeutic exercise.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• May supervise students training in Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Maintains treatment area, orders supplies, keeps records and prepares reports.
• Collaborates with members of interdisciplinary health team in planning and evaluation of treatment.
• Performs and interprets tests and measurements to assist in diagnosis and prognosis.

Minimum Qualifications :

A Baccalaureate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college and a valid New York State license to practice physical therapy.

Required Licenses : New York State license to practice physical therapy.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $98,050 - $99,050. Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
