This position will provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and family about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and family members.

Conduct physical exams to assess patient health needs and problems.

Administer direct care to patients.

Record patients’ medical histories and symptoms

Administer patients’ medicines and treatments

Set up plans for patients’ care or contribute to existing plans

Observe patients and record the observations

Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals

Operate and monitor medical equipment

Help perform diagnostic tests and analyze the results

Must be responsible and detail oriented to make sure that patients get the correct treatments and medicines at the right time.

Teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries

Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatment plans.

Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.

Explain what to do at home after treatment

Performs other duties as assigned.

Florida License required

2+ years’ experience in a medical settin g with formal medical training required .

Coding education helpful

Knowledge of Athena, CPT and ICD 10 codes preferred
