About the Role :
The Project Engineer plays a crucial role by supporting senior staff (Project Managers and Superintendents) in v arious aspects of project management.
This includes coordinating tasks, managing schedules, conducting quanti t y surveys, gene r ating reports, and ensuring quali t y control.
The role is tas k -oriented and demands a working knowledge of f undamental construction project elements such as field management, estimating, and ove r all project management.
As a Project Engineer at Graham, you will :
- Administer v arious duties related to project management
- Update schedules and budgets, ensuring cost control measures are maintained
- Monitor labo r , material, and equipment activities on the project
- Collabo r ate with Project Managers and on-site Superintendents to revise project schedules and budgets, proactively
- identi f ying potential construction issues
- Attend all project team meetings, meticulously documenting meeting discussions, action items, and key project delive r ables and decisions
- Oversee the project change management process, identi f ying change events, submitting change notices, t r acking changes, and presenting them to the Project Manager as needed
- Assist in managing d r awings, d r awing records, revisions, site instructions, and change orders
- Provide support to the Project Manager and Superintendent in creating templates and supporting documents concerning roles and responsibilities f or the project team
- R ecord change orders and ensure timely updates to site d r awings
- Monitor payroll f unctions, conduct regular reviews of cost accruals, and ensure adherence to established procedures
- Maintain quali t y assu r ance / quali t y control (QA / QC) and sa f e t y records f or the project
- R eview Field Surveillance R eports (FSR), initiating Non-Con f ormance R eports (NCRs) based on thorough analysis and severi t y of findings
Qualifications & Experience :
- T r ade Certification or T echnical Diploma / Degree in Engineering or related field experience is mandatory 3-5 years of construction experience is essential
- Strong presentation skills are a must
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required
- Proficient use of scheduling and project management software is expected
Compensation and Benefits :
- Salary r ange : 70 k -100k
