Talent Acquisition Specialist
Our client, a prestigious Investment Management firm based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an experienced Internal Recruiter to join their dynamic team.
This role offers a hybrid work environment, with a balance of in-office collaboration and remote work from home. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in talent acquisition and experience working closely with internal teams to recruit top talent across various departments.
Responsibilities :
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and create customized recruitment plans.
- Attract and engage top talent for roles across multiple departments, including finance, tech, legal, and administration.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job posting through offer, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Maintain a pool of potential candidates for immediate and future openings.
- Leverage diverse sourcing methods like professional networks, referrals, and recruitment platforms to find qualified candidates.
- Screen and interview candidates to evaluate their fit for the role and company culture.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication.
- Work with HR and hiring teams to enhance the efficiency of the recruitment process while aligning with organizational objectives.
- Provide hiring managers with updates on market trends and candidate expectations to inform decision-making.
- Support initiatives that boost the firm's reputation as an attractive place to work.
- Ensure hiring practices comply with legal standards and internal policies.
Qualifications :
- 3-5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within financial services, hedge funds, or private equity, though not required.
- Proven success in sourcing and hiring talent across diverse functions.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams across departments.
- Proficient in using recruitment platforms, sourcing strategies, and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills focused on creating a positive candidate experience.
- Capable of managing multiple recruitment efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to recruitment challenges.
- Comfortable working independently or collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
- Experience with niche or high-level corporate roles, especially in finance, is advantageous.
