Tax Lead | $80,000 - $110,000 | Direct Hire

What Matters Most

  • Schedule : Tax Season – 58-60 hours weekly, Offseason – 8am-5pm, early out on Fridays
  • Location : Blaire, NE

Job Description

As the Tax Lead, you will oversee all tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. You will manage a team of tax professionals, provide strategic guidance on tax-efficient structures, and liaise with external advisors and regulatory bodies. This role requires strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of corporate tax laws and accounting principles.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and international tax filings, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and deadlines.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and support business initiatives.
  • Communicate with clients – businesses and individuals.

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Public Accounting experience
  • 3-5 years of tax experience
  • CPA preferred, not required
  • Agricultural experience preferred, not required
  • Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax, QuickBooks experience preferred, not required

    The base pay range for this position is $70,000–$120,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
