We are hiring a Project Manager in Allendale, MI.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create job folders to organize the upcoming projects
- Order and track components
- Coordinate with internal salespersons for site visits
- Design crane system to match customer’s application while staying in budget
- Provide support for approval layout drawings from site visit
- Provide support for draftsmen for detailed drawings
- Support both fabrication team and install team to complete the crane system
- Handling multiple projects on an ongoing basis
- Order equipment and trucking for projects on a weekly basis
- Keeping in communication with customers on schedules weekly basis
- Create manuals for managed projects
Requirements :
Education & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years project management experience
- Professionally deal with customers
- Knowledge of the process of fabrication. (structural steel is a plus)
- Auto CAD or similar software experience (Pro E, Solid Works, etc.)
- Field measure and layout a project
- Ability to conceive concepts of a project while in the field with the customer
- Capability to see all the steps of a project have been addressed in a timely manner
Physical Ability Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to be mobile throughout facility to communicate with other departments.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for extended periods of time.
