The Role :

Directly reporting to the Director of Technology Governance & Operations, this role at S&P Global Dow Jones Indices is an exciting opportunity join our team during a dynamic period of fundamental operational changes.

This role involves supporting the Technology Governance & Operations team in establishing and implementing robust procedures with effective controls, metrics and evidence to ensure the effectiveness of the technology organization.

The successful candidate will coordinate activities around Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, and Cross-functional tech teams.

Furthermore, the Manager, IT Project Management will be responsible for driving the automation of processes using power platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing our internal portfolio management tool and will have the opportunity to work in a wide range of areas including communication, DEI, culture, agile, AI enablement and portfolio management processes.

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree or higher education in a related area such as finance, economics, information technology, or business.

The ideal candidate should have experience and a general interest in lean portfolio management, agile development processes, project management methodologies, and process automation.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work with team members and stakeholders at all levels are essential.

Qualifications : Education :

Education :

• Bachelor s degree or higher education in a related area such as finance, economics, information technology or business
• Certification in portfolio management and / or agile

Responsibilities :

• Providing transparency into the technology organization's book of work.
• Developing and implementing procedures and tools for effective work intake, prioritization, and reporting.
• Work with the Technology Governance & Operations team and further stakeholders to put together and drive the roadmap of our portfolio management tool and integration to Azure Dev Ops.
• Process improvement through automation, leveraging tools such as MS Power Platform.
• Be a culture carrier in getting stuff done by displaying ownership, accountability, transparency and proactiveness.
• Working with cross-functional stakeholders on work intake leveraging SAFe lean portfolio management methodologies

Experience :

• 10+ years of experience with proficiency in providing transparency into technology organization’s book of work, develop and implement procedures and tools to effectively manage work intake, prioritization and reporting.
• Proficiency in software development processes Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, project management methodologies and processes in enterprise scale organizations
• Attentive to detail and quality oriented; ability to execute in a timely and accurate manner

• Proficiency in establishing SharePoint Sites and Wikis for the wider organization to enable collaboration & transparency.
