Overview
The Bell Attendant serves hotel guests and owners by assisting with luggage, shuttling guests around town, coordinating packages and deliveries, etc.
They assist with collecting parking fees for events in the evening too. -Earns $17-$18 / hour plus tips -Available for AM, mid-shift, or PM shifts.

Available from end of November through mid April 2025. We anticipate the position to be filled byAugust 30, 2024. Job Duties include but not limited to : Bell Attendants are in constant communication with the Front Office to ensure guests are escorted and their luggage and personal items are transported to and from the guest rooms efficiently.
It’s important to ensure that guests are comfortable with accommodations and are familiar with room offerings and features.
This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and hotel or local recommendations. This position requires strong service orientation and strong communication skills.
Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms, assists with luggage, and offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and directions.
Explains features of room such as operation of television, fire place and how to place telephone calls and text the front desk.
In charge of deliveries from Fed Ex, UPS, USPS. Log in, schedule delivery or pick up to guest owners or employees through Package Zen.
Identifies future arrival has guest services or front desk make traces on reservations for upcoming stays. Able to drive to the Manor Vail Vehicle (with in Vail East Vail to West Vail) Keep the front drive clear of vehicles, assist with parking instructions for garage and surface lot.
Assist in keeping lobbies clean, coffee buffet station clean and full, and responsible for getting winter snacks and beverages out daily from 3-5.

Education / Experience : High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training;

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability : Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills : Able to use Smart phone.
