Position Overview :
Soliant is seeking a passionate and qualified Virtual Social Worker to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time remote position involves providing critical support to students, helping them navigate emotional, social, and behavioral challenges in an academic setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Student Support : Provide virtual counseling and support to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Crisis Intervention : Offer immediate assistance in situations involving emotional distress or crisis.
- Collaboration : Work closely with educators, parents, and school staff to develop strategies that support student well-being.
- Case Management : Assist in connecting students and families to necessary resources and munity services.
- Progress Monitoring : Track student progress and provide ongoing support for continued success.
Qualifications :
- Educational Requirements : Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
- Certification : Must hold a valid social worker license in Michigan.
- Experience : Previous experience in a school setting or working with children / adolescents is preferred.
- Skills : Strong munication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential.
