Job Summary and Qualifications
- Monitor, interpret and report data for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients from telemetry monitor systems
- Interpret and recognize rhythms with the potential to alter the patients physiology and report to licensed staff immediately
- Document rhythm status per routine, for all changes, and upon request during emergent patient interventions
- Report changes in pulse oximetry data to appropriate licenses personnel
- Follow procedure for application functions as directed by the licensed staff
- Maintain stock supplies for monitoring area
- Maintain a safe work environment
What qualifications you will need :
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Previous telemetry monitoring experience preferred; must successfully pass EKG exam within 60 days of hire date.
