Title : Certified Surgical Technologist - Open Heart
Job Type : Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting : Operating Room
Location : Elmhurst, IL
Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday 6 : 30am-3 : 00pm, on-call weekend and holiday rotation
Pay : Pay determined by department equity plus a full benefits package!
The Certified Surgical Technologist duties to include but not limited to :
- Demonstrates practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment
- Scrub surgeries in multiple specialties
- Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be a graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician program or equivalent
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
- National certification through the Association of Surgical Technologists is required
- Open heart experience is required
