Payroll Specialist Onsite Omaha, NE
As a stable company with huge growth potential we need a quality oriented, loyal and dependable member for our Payroll team.
Our family-like culture permits you to manage your own priorities while meeting important deadlines. The payroll specialist will ensure that all employees are paid timely and billing is generated weekly.
Annual Salary
$22.12 - $22.12*
Responsibilities :
- Develop foundational knowledge of basic payroll processing within 90 days.
- Manage a full desk of 175-250 travelers by 6 months of employment.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of payroll processes by 9 months of employment.
- Independently navigate the database & other office programs related to job performance from the job orders to payroll approval and billing.
- Work closely with other departments to collaborate on a seamless processing of payroll.

- Able to work under pressure & meet strict deadlines with organization and purpose.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a team with vendors, and internal staff.
- Exude assertiveness to be able to deliver and receive less than desirable news.
- Ability to multitask and avoid unnecessary distractions.
- Adaptability to learn on the fly & adjust to new processes and training.
- Ability to be open-minded to direction, coaching & counseling.
Experience Requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- College Degree preferred, but not required.
- 1-year prior payroll experience
- 2-years administrative experience in an office environment preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong multi tasking and customer service skills.
- Strong grammar skills.
- A team player with solid communication skills.
- Experience with payroll management systems.
