Senior Accountant

Our Client (a fitness franchise platform) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing Global Finance team. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to financial operations while maintaining work-life balance.

This role requires to report 2 days in the office.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations.
• Contribute to monthly flux analysis and variance reporting for expense accounts.
• Develop scalable systems and processes, emphasizing efficiency and internal controls.
• Apply GAAP principles to maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with the Accounting team on fixed assets, lease accounting, prepaid expenses, accruals, and cash.
• Assist in shaping and maintaining accounting policies during company expansion.
• Handle ad hoc projects and requests related to corporate accounting.
• Liaise with external auditors for inquiries.
• Prepare supporting work papers for consolidated financial statements.
• Analyze and summarize financial information.
• Conduct necessary accounting research.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent (CPA a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in General Ledger processes.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.

Compensation :

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure : $80K - $90K.
