We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Extruder Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently while adhering to production deadlines and safety standards.

This position is a permanent, full-time role in the engineering industry, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Extruder Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to :

1. Operating and maintaining extrusion machinery and equipment according to specified procedures and safety protocols.

2. Monitoring machine output and making necessary adjustments to ensure product meets quality standards and specifications.

3. Performing regular maintenance checks and troubleshooting any mechanical issues that arise.

4. Collaborating with other members of the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.

5. Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

6. Documenting production processes, including downtime, output, and quality checks.

7. Assisting in the training of new operators and providing guidance on the operation of extrusion machines.

8. Continually seeking ways to improve production efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience operating extrusion machines in a manufacturing setting.

2. Demonstrated knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures.

3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adhere to strict quality standards.

5. Proven ability to work as part of a team to meet production deadlines.

6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

7. Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as needed.

8. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field or relevant certifications would be a plus.

9. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations within the manufacturing industry.
