Student Worker
Position Description :
Purpose
Assist in routine administrative and data collection aspects of clinical research studies needed in accordance with specific instructions and established work methods.
Support research investigators as needed.
Primary Functions
- Review patient medical records to extract relevant clinical data for the research.
- Enter research data onto clinical research forms and into computerized database.
- Assist in data cleaning and quality assurance activities, including reviewing assessments conducted for clinical research purposes.
- Assist in literature review.
- Provide general clerical support to investigators, including maintaining study documentation and organizing and filing documents.
- Attend study team meetings and complete study related training, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Strong problem solving and attentiveness to detail required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of computers, clerical procedures, customer service standards, and information management.
