Job Description

Our client in Omaha is looking for an Accountant to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work in both traditional accounting and project-focused accounting, giving you exposure to billing, reporting, and financial analysis in a collaborative environment. It’s a great fit for someone with a strong accounting foundation who enjoys variety and wants to grow in a project-based setting.

Responsibilities :

Process accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements

Set up and maintain project accounts, budgets, and billing details in the accounting system

Support project managers and leadership with financial updates, reports, and month-end close tasks

Assist with process improvements, financial analysis, and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications and Requirements :

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience

3+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience

Proficient in Excel and accounting software

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

The base salary range for this position is $55,000- $75,000, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
