Job Description
POSITION TITLE : Designer
POSITION PURPOSE : Responsible for combining design and research to bring clarity to the challenges of brand innovation. Define breakthrough products and experiences that reinvigorate the brand identity-identify new opportunities that rebuild and evolve the brand's image to stay relevant in current and future trends.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Develop actionable insights, move early ideas into tangible concepts and shape new solutions. Work with Design and outside vendors to develop branding concepts based on relevant trends.
Research market trends and relevant themes in pop culture. Ensure that vendors are in line to react to trends and deliver prototypes.
Establish strong branding concepts in all product categories, including accessories, apparel and packaging that meet the needs of the market.
Maintain library archives of all concepts produced including any ideas that drop out of line.
EDUCATION : Bachelor's Degree
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 4-6 Years
