Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT and BLS for a night shift, temp-to-perm assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a diagnostic radiology department in an acute care setting
  • Night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Utilizes Siemens imaging equipment; experience with Siemens preferred
  • Uses RIS, CIS, PACS, and SMS for imaging and documentation
  • Responsible for performing general diagnostic radiography procedures and troubleshooting equipment or protocol issues
  • Ensures proper patient identification, accuracy of demographic and exam information, and correct use of emulsion markers
  • Transmits and verifies imaging with PACS and completes documentation in RIS
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports equipment problems promptly
  • Assesses patient condition and history prior to exams, verifies pregnancy status as needed, and assists patients requiring extra care
  • Will be expected to comply with strict onboarding and background check processes

    • Requirements

  • ARRT certification in Radiography is required; must maintain registry status and fulfill annual continuing education requirements
  • Valid BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required
  • Completion of an accredited Associate's Degree or Radiologic Sciences Program is required
  • No prior experience required
  • License required if applicable
