Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg Level II for a travel nursing job in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Job Title : Travel RN – Med / Surg (Night Shift)

Shift : 4x12 Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Start Date : November 3, 2025

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Job Details :

  • Every other weekend required
  • Will float to other Med / Surg units as needed (typically once per week)
  • Patient ratio : 1 : 5–6 on nights (may flex up to 8 with LPN support)
  • Unit specialties : Ortho / Neurovascular, Cardio / Pulmonary, GI, Urology, Hysterectomy, and Mastectomy cases
  • Collaborative team environment with RNs, LPNs, and Techs

    • Requirements :

  • Active or pending Michigan RN license
  • BLS (AHA) – required or willing to obtain
  • Minimum 1-year recent Med / Surg experience (2 years preferred)
  • Must be flexible with scheduling and floating needs

    • No RTO allowed during the first 8 days of the assignment\nHoliday RTO not permitted; requests may be discussed with manager
