M&W Commercial Flooring, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Flooring Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily project take-offs, estimate generation, and pricing for commercial floor covering projects.

This role requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to interpret architectural plans and product data, and a strong understanding of various commercial flooring products.

The ideal candidate will be self-starting, take ownership of tasks, and ensure that all projects are estimated accurately and delivered on time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Project Management : Organize and manage plans and files according to the company structure, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Time Management : Efficiently manage time and resources to meet project deadlines, ensuring all estimates are completed on schedule.
• Estimate Generation : Provide complete and accurate estimates for potential projects, including a detailed scope of work for each job.
• Communication : Effectively communicate with project managers, general contractors, and installation crews about the details of each take-off and estimate.
• Plan Review : Identify potential omissions and errors in project plans, and provide Requests for Information (RFIs) to the general contractor or architect to ensure a complete estimate.
• Specification Understanding : Review and understand project specifications and scope of work, identifying any issues or conflicts with the plans.
• Product Research : Research and identify all necessary items for a complete and accurate estimate, including transitions, trim pieces, and other relevant components.

• Industry Experience : Previous experience in a construction-related industry, with familiarity with construction and flooring software applications.
• Technical Skills : Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings and product specifications.

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Potential for a Hybrid set up
