This plant operates 24 / 7 across three shifts and employs about 500 people. They are recession-proof and emerged stronger from the COVID-19 pandemic, with two facilities already running 24 / 7 and a third on the way .

Qualifications :
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in food production / facility maintenance; 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with SQF or other GFSI programs
- College degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; equivalent experience may be substituted for educational requirements
- Must be a proactive team player who learns quickly when facing new challenges and is open to change
- Advanced mechanical and electrical skills
- Must be able to work with power tools and handle high and low voltages.
- Equipment knowledge of slicers, sealers, flow wrappers, and labelers, REQUIRED
- Ability to read engineering schematics such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, hydraulic, and pneumatic
- Welding experience
What you will do?
- Machine maintenance, breaking down equipment, adjusting and setting up for daily production.
- Perform preventative maintenance, which includes daily and weekly inspections of machines.
- Develops budgets for plant maintenance, projects and major and minor line improvements.
- Schedules, supervises, and direct work of the staff.
- Evaluates performance and works with Plant Manager regarding personnel issues.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
- Able to work overtime and on-call for emergency situations when needed. Weekend work required as needed
