Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for diagnostic imaging with at least 2 years of OR and fluoroscopy experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Assignment is in a hospital radiology department specializing in diagnostic imaging
  • Shifts are 8-hour evenings with varying start times between 2 : 30 PM and 3 : 30 PM, ending between 11 : 00 PM and 12 : 00 AM
  • Caseload includes orthopedic and general diagnostics, C-arm procedures in the OR, ED, trauma, neonate, and portable x-rays
  • Floating to other units as needed is required
  • Surgery / OR coverage is part of the role
  • Uses GE, Philips, and Siemens radiology equipment
  • Documentation is performed in Epic EMR
  • Candidate must be comfortable working independently in the OR and fluoroscopy settings
  • Scrubs may be any color
  • Time off must be requested in advance for consideration
  • Locals within 75 miles are accepted
  • All main job duties include performing a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures, supporting surgical teams, and rotating between units as required
  • \n \n Requirements\n

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, including OR and fluoroscopy
  • ARRT(R) certification required
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Experience with GE and Philips radiology equipment required
  • Proficiency in OR, ED, orthopedic, fluoroscopy, portable x-ray, trauma, and neonate radiography required
  • License required if applicable
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical and religious declinations allowed
