Senior Security Engineer

PrimaryResponsibility :

Thisrole will ist in evaluating creating and implementing securitystandards processes and procedures related to access controlapplication security cloud security endpoint security and networksecurity.

Duties include essing security issues to propose andmanage the implementation and operation of controls and solutionsthat reduce risk and / or meet complianceneeds.

EssentialFunctions :

Performsinformation security risk essments of internally developedsolutions and cloudbased solutions and services by partnering withbusiness teams to identify secure solutions to business problemsworking with the Infrastructure Team to deploy strategic securityprojects from endtoend reviewing network configurations toimplement segmentation following secure best practicesinvestigating doenting and isting with implementing security bestpractices for both corporate and warehouse environments andimplementing security technology solutions for prevention ofunauthorized access and detection of securityevents.

Responds to possible security breachesby collaborating with appropriate leaders to identify recommend anddevelop risk remediation plans and evaluating vendor securitycontrols to ensure continued security compliance with Interfacestandards.

Supports multiple securitytechnologies and platforms both on premise and cloud based byreviewing security technology and process standards and policiesbased on business needs and requirements and maintaining knowledgeof current and emerging security compliance and technicaldevelopments.

Promotes security best practicesvia awareness example and compliance with policies and regulatoryrequirements.

Performs other duties andresponsibilities as needed as igned or asrequested.

Qualifications &Preferred Experience :

Two(2) years demonstrated information technology experience with focusin areas such as systems network mobile and / or application securitydesigning and implementing information security and networksecurity architectures or demonstrated experience withadministration design and implementation of security controlsincluding experience in applying odologies and principles for alllevels of security.

Bachelors Degree(Information Technology) or equivalent degree with an informationsecurity emphasis preferred or equivalent relevantexperience.

Experience with securitytechnologies such as cloud security (AWS Azure CASB) data security(DLP Encryption FIM / FAM SIEM etc.

endpoint security (AV HIPS MDMPatching etc.) network security (firewalls IPS NAC WAF etc.) accesscontrol (MFA PAM SSO etc.

or other relevanttechnology.

Knowledge &Employment Standards :

Demonstrated knowledge of project management practices sufficientto coordinate and administer multiple initiatives within statedtimeframe(s).

Demonstrated oral and writtencommunication ss sufficient to organize and present technicalissues and concepts to various levels of management including thosewith nontechnical knowledge and understanding.

Demonstrated negotiation and persuasion ss ytical ss and leadershipss sufficient to navigate differences of opinion and varyingpriority needs necessary to coordinate project completion betweenmany different levels of management and various types ofstaff.

Demonstrated knowledge of variousindustry security standards and organizations necessary to maintainknowledge of current trends contacts and securityenhancements.

Familiarity with one (1) or moretypes of information security frameworks such as ISO 27000 seriesCIS Controls NIST 800171 or other similartechnologies.

Demonstrated ability to applytimeproven generally accepted security management odologiesconcepts and techniques in the application and conclusion ofimplemented security solutions.
