What You'll Do

Provide information, directions, and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff

Patrol campus by vehicle and on foot; monitor for suspicious activity and safety hazards

Enforce institutional and parking regulations; issue permits and citations as needed

Serve as a Campus Security Authority in compliance with the Clery Act

Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time position. In this role, you are considered Essential Personnel . Officers work within a healthcare campus environment and may rotate across posts. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education :

Required : High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience :

Required : One year of relevant work experience.

Licenses :

Required : Valid Class A, B or C Texas driver's license.

Certifications :

Preferred : International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) certification

Other :

Required : Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources. This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening. The ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of such infrastructure is a condition of hire and continued employment.
