Job Description :

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join a school district in Corona, CA. As a School Psychologist, you will be instrumental in supporting students mental health and academic achievement.

Your role will involve conducting psychological assessments, providing counseling services, and working collaboratively with educators and parents to address students needs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate interventions.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students, focusing on their emotional, social, and academic development.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement effective support plans for students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational and behavioral goals for students with special needs.
• Offer crisis intervention and support for students dealing with immediate emotional or behavioral issues.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments as necessary to support student progress.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff on mental health issues and strategies to support student well-being.

Qualifications :

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid California credential or license in School Psychology.
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and students.
