Job Duty / Resp. 1 :
Plans and conducts IB professional development experiences and activities for school leaders and teachers.
Job Duty / Resp. 2 :
Assures that school’s curriculum, assessment, and reporting systems fulfill the aims and objectives of all subject groups as documented by regular review or the school’s IB written curriculum.
Job Duty / Resp. 3 :
Maintains working knowledge of IB Standards and Practices and specific requirements for the program(s), planning collaboratively and reflectively with school staffs on a regular basis
Job Duty / Resp. 4 :
Develops and models IB written, taught, and assessed curriculum.
Job Duty / Resp. 5 :
Plans IB teacher-training cycles within schools according to program, student, and staff needs.
Job Duty / Resp. 6 :
Helps school establish an ongoing IB program evaluation process that involves all stakeholder groups to assure continuity of the programs, expanded student access to IB courses, horizontal / vertical articulation, and successful IB-mandated program evaluations.

Plans and conducts information / orientation sessions for school counselors and new and developing IB teachers.
Job Duty / Resp. 8 :
Prepares and presents reports of IB program effectiveness as demonstrated through student participation, test performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Answers and returns phone calls, emails, and mail communications from teachers, parents, administrators, and others.

Communicates regularly with the Advanced Academics Department.

Attends district IB Advisory Board meetings and TN IB roundtable events.
Job Duty / Resp. 12 :
Helps build explicit connections between IB responsibilities and district responsibilities for teachers, coaches, and administrators.

Focuses on ATL skills and strategy development in written and taught curriculum to support SEL of students and successful assessment practices for students and teachers.

Education and Experience Requirements
Education (training / degree) : Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and IB training at Levels I and II is highly desirable.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations Required : Requires valid TN teacher licensure in a content area and practical knowledge of IB.
Experience : Requires three years teaching or IB coordinator experience in an IB setting.
Skills Required : excellent organization and project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence without authority, proven ability to assess curriculum against standards and recommend alternatives

Kronos Set Up Data :
Meal Deduction Most Bransford office and district level employee have a meal deduction. They are scheduled 8.5 hours per day and get an hour lunch.
Itinerants and retirees get a 30 minute lunch period and therefore do not have a meal deduction. All school based employees will not have a meal deduction. No Meal Deduction
Travel Itinerant non-exempt employees who travel will be using the time clock differently than others and are paid for travel time between work locations.
