Description
Robert Half is recruiting an Associate Attorney for a civil litigation defense firm known for its excellent mentorship program in downtown San Francisco (hybrid telecommute OK;
or mostly remote for really experienced lawyers). The Associate is responsible for significant case management, including attending pre-trial court appearances, researching, drafting and arguing law & motion pleadings, handling the full scope of discovery and conducting / defending depositions, reporting case updates directly with clients, as well as possible trial advocacy.
This is a terrific opportunity for an ambitious litigator who wants to work on a true, supportive team with partners who invest quality time training and mentoring associates.
The main qualifications for this Associate position are the following :
- 2+ years of civil litigation practice, insurance defense and / or personal injury experience is preferred;
- Good deposition and dispositive motion argument experience is desired, but not required;
- Active and in good standing with State Bar of California; and
- Dynamic, driven, team player, and enjoys being a fierce advocate.
This is a partnership-track position at a successful mid-sized (and growing) law firm with multiple offices. The salary range is $120,000 - 170,000 / yr.
DOE, with an annual merit bonus and generous productivity bonuses paid quarterly. Billable target is 150+ hours / month.
