Proposal Writer

Overview : Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is an experienced partner managing housekeeping, dining, and dietitian services within the healthcare market.

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our Revenue team. This role is critical in helping us secure new business opportunities by crafting compelling and clear responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and supporting our business development team with high-quality technical documentation. Responsibilities :

Content Development and Technical Writing :

Write, edit, and proofread content for RFP responses, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client requirements and company standards.

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and tailor responses to address specific RFP criteria.

Develop persuasive and customized executive summaries, technical sections, case studies, and other relevant content.Translate complex technical information into accessible content for a wide audience, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Maintain and update technical documents as needed.Proposal Management :

Maintain a proposal content library and templates to streamline the proposal creation process.Ensure all proposals are formatted consistently and professionally, adhering to brand guidelines and client specifications.

Coordinate the proposal development process, including scheduling, task assignments, and deadline management.Presentation Support :

Assist the business development team by developing engaging presentations for client meetings, pitches, and internal reviews.

Create compelling slides that effectively communicate key messages and support overall presentation goals.Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Technical Writing, or a related field.Proven experience (3+ years) in proposal writing, technical writing, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment.

Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to enhance proposal content.Familiarity with RFP databases and proposal management software (e.

g., RFPIO, Loopio).Experience with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.Knowledge of best practices in proposal writing and technical documentation.
