Seeking an experienced Distribution Center Manager to supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring maximum quality and cost-effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- College degree required
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution operations, including receiving, stocking, replenishment, cycle counting, order picking, and shipping processes
- Experience with Oracle and / or Dematic systems highly preferred
- Union workforce experience
- Lean background

- Previous management experience with teams of 15-30 people
- Great communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Creativity in discovering new and effective methods
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise Distribution Center operations to drive productivity, quality, and safety
- Develop and implement continual improvement projects
- Actively participate in performance evaluations, team member relations, and development
- Allocate labor distribution in Dematic WMS and monitor work volume
- Monitor front line team performance and address issues
- Ensure all critical orders are complete to ship out by 19 : 00
- Release additional work in the Dematic system as necessary
- Record daily metric performance on MDI board
- Adapt to changing or competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment
- Manage activities requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, conveyors, or vehicles
- Occasionally lift objects up to 40 pounds and engage in frequent walking / standing throughout the day
Pay Details : $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
