Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator / Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Set up and operate fabrication machinery such as press brake machines, calipers, micrometers, and cranes
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques including stick welding
- Fabricate metal components by cutting, bending, shaping, and assembling materials
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
Experience :
- Proven experience as a Fabricator / Welder or similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to operate fabrication machinery such as press brake machines, calipers, micrometers, and cranes
- Experience with stick welding techniques
- Familiarity with using tools such as grinders, saws, drills, etc.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
