Job Title : Medical Policy Coordinator / Business Analyst
Location : Detroit, MI (100% Remote)
Duration : 12+ Months
Engagement Description :
- Support the development and maintenance of the medical policy repository, including annual reviews / updates.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director on medical policy development and maintenance.
- Assist with the review of JUMP meeting minutes to update Medicare Policies as needed.
- Prepare policies and documents for CRC (Clinical Review Committee) and UMC (Utilization Management Committee) meetings.
- Research CPT or HCPCS codes when required.
- Conduct research on medical technologies for specific cases requesting authorizations on new technologies.
Top 3 Required Skills / Experience :
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with CMS NCDs (National Coverage Determinations) and LCDs (Local Coverage Determinations).
Additional Required Skills / Experience :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research skills.
Preferred Skills / Experience :
Experience in researching and writing policies (preferred but not required).
Education / Certifications :
- Clinical background or relevant education.
