Job Details
We are looking for a highly driven Senior Accountant to support domestic and international accounting operations.
Essential Functions :
- Prepare and / or review month-end journal entries, which includes but is not limited to : fixed asset reporting & depreciation, prepaid expense amortization, accrued expenses, accrued / deferred revenue, interest income
- Prepare and / or review bi-weekly payroll, calculations, data entry, reconciling, posting transactions
- Provide first approval of employee expense reports, reimbursements & payments
- Manage employee credit card expenses, reconciliation & payments
- Prepare / review / maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconcile employee benefit accounts
- Maintain financial reports, records, & general ledger accounts
- Reconcile, file, and pay sales tax returns
- Reconcile office leases
- Review aged A / R for write-offs, refunds, & misapplications
- Record and / or serve as backup for daily cash transactions including cash application, reconciliation of payments to invoices, & issuance of refunds for overpayments
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in same work capacity
Professional appearance & demeanor for a professional office
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Working knowledge & understanding of GAAP
