Job Description

Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to join our team! In this remote role, you will oversee the planning, documentation, coordination, implementation, and tracking of key local marketing initiatives across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals of the company.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will drive operational excellence within our Local Marketing and Partnerships team and play a pivotal role in orchestrating comprehensive marketing programs, ensuring seamless integration with our broader marketing strategy, and leading our efforts to maintain high-quality execution and impactful results.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Support Local Marketing Managers in the execution of local marketing programs, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies and company goals.
  • Manage the program lifecycle, overseeing all phases from initiation to closure, while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project documentation, including plans, budgets, and performance metrics, to evaluate and report on program success.
  • Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance marketing initiative integration and effectiveness.
  • Analyze program outcomes, providing strategic recommendations for optimizing future marketing efforts.
  • Handle vendor selection, onboarding, and management to align with company standards.
  • Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and accounts payable, and conduct contract negotiations.
  • Ensure transparent and consistent communication throughout the program lifecycle to align with stakeholders.
  • Lead efforts in data collection, analysis, and reporting to gauge the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Offer strategic insights to senior leadership, shaping future marketing strategies and decisions.
  • Establish and refine scalable processes for efficient event and partnership management.
  • Coordinate with agencies for event staffing and logistics to ensure flawless execution.
  • Manage event inventory to maintain adequate levels of materials and giveaways for each event.
  • Keep a detailed event schedule, promoting cross-functional collaboration and visibility.
  • Continuously improve event strategies based on market research and competitor analysis.
  • Address operational challenges proactively, ensuring seamless program execution.
  • Develop integrated program plans and initiatives, enhancing cross-functional teamwork and standardizing processes for improved operational efficiency.
  • Oversee projects across various business units, delivering marketing objectives on time and within budget.
  • Communicate program progress, risks, and solutions to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, and / or equivalent experience in program / project management.
  • 6+ years experience in local marketing, events, and sponsorships program / project management and planning.
  • Knowledge of internet and voice solutions for residential / small businesses.
  • Independent work ethic, professional, with experience in effectively working in virtual, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills for effective communication across all organizational levels. Ability to clearly communicate ideas and results, using tools like PowerPoint, email, and Teams calls, to various audiences including executives.
  • Skilled in identifying trends, evaluating gaps, and presenting improvements to leaders.
  • Proficient in creating detailed project plans and presentations.
  • Creative and action-focused, with strong implementation and execution skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software like Asana and JIRA.
  • Ability to effectively operate within diverse and cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to travel at times throughout a multi-state territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR check may be required)

  • Agency experience in event or experiential marketing.
  • Project Managment Professional (PMP) or PMO certification
