Job Description : Assess clients / consumers' physical, developmental, and psychosocial functions using standardized and non-standardized assessment and measuring tools.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement occupational therapy group or individual treatment plans.- Determine appropriate therapy techniques and sequences.
- Coordinate treatment plans with other programs for overall client / consumer benefit.- Provide consultations with clients / consumers and other healthcare professionals regarding progress and treatment recommendations.
- Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team.- Assess and locate suitable adaptive equipment.- Document evaluations, observations, and assessments of client / consumer performance.
- Record treatment plans and revisions.- Requisition supplies and equipment.- Maintain records and update knowledge relevant to occupational therapy.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
