The Loan Servicing Senior position is part of the Single-Family Operations, Investor Reporting team. The primary responsibility is to manage the cash, reporting, and reconcilement of loans within a customer’s portfolio.

You will analyze mortgage data to resolve errors, identify data trends, and present insightful recommendations using our latest technology to improve the customer’s performance and manage Freddie Mac risk.

As a Loan Servicing Senior, each day is different as you interact with business partners and external customers working to build solid relationships and determine the best solution to each customer need.

You will also support and lead team specific projects that align to Investor Reporting and Freddie Mac priorities.

Leadership and partnership are critical as Loan Servicing Senior. You will apply necessary tools to prioritize and execute tasks, escalate speculative issues, and foster a diverse team culture.

Our Impact :

Investor Reporting is critical to Freddie Mac. Our team manages a portfolio of over 13 million loans and over 1,400 servicers.

We manage loan level activity, collect principal and interest (P&I) remittances and work with servicers to resolve reporting and remitting exceptions.

Accurate loan level activity is necessary to comply with contractual obligations to Mortgage-Backed Securities investors and to manage portfolio credit risk.

Your Impact :

• Portfolio Management : Oversee customer portfolios, including the monthly reporting of principal and interest activity.
• Relationship Building : Manage client relationships to maintain clean data within our servicing guidelines and policies.
• Data Analysis and Solutioning : Perform data analysis on a wide variety of loan products, interpret results, and recommend solutions to process gaps and create efficiencies.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related area.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Intermediate knowledge of the mortgage industry.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex analysis and present findings to a wide audience.
