Risk Analyst
POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
The Risk Analyst role supports the CCIP Manager by performing essential duties relating to corporate insurance, risk accounting, and general administration as required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude and the desire to grow and learn with a leading construction firm.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee subcontractor CCIP enrollment & compliance process for assigned projects
Communicate with project teams and subcontractor base regarding project CCIP requirements
Act as liaison between Moss and third-party CCIP administrator
Review and process NOAs to determine if enroll or exclude, inform Team & sub as needed
Review CMiC for new subcontracts
Review NTOs for Florida projects
Review Owner contract for CCIP requirements
Prepare, set-up and execute CCIP Kick-off Meetings with project teams (on & off site)
Follow up with subcontractors for missing paperwork as needed
Issue CCIP change orders to Project Accountant
Analyze Contract Value / Payroll Amounts on monthly basis and issue CCIP True-Up COs
Place Contracts on payment hold when needed & inform project team
Hold recurring meetings with project teams to discuss open items
Escalate subcontractors’ requests / issues if needed
Provide exceptions where applicable
Manage electronic filing records
Travel to CCIP sites
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENC E
1-3 years of insurance or risk management experience with a construction firm, insurance brokerage, or insurance company
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Required
Bachelors degree strongly preferred
Experience with a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP) a plus
