Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) UnitManager

Bushwick Center isactively seeking an experienced Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN) for our Skilled Nursing Facility inBrooklyn NY

DUTIES :

Providesadvice & support to the Residents and their families
Monitoring Residents and administeringmedication and treatments
Documents Residentcare services by charting in Resident & dept. records
Protects Residents & staff by adheringto infectioncontrol policies & protocols
Resolves Resident problems &needs by utilizingmultidisciplinary team strategies
Assuresquality of care by adhering to Facility philosophies &standards of care
Supervising LPNs andNursing Assistants
Maintains Residentconfidence by keeping information confidential

REQUIREMENTS :

Should work well in a teamoriented environment
Must be a valid New York Licensed PracticalNurse (LPN)
Basic computer skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience in LTC settings
Shouldbe friendly and a team worker
