Day shift Operations hours Monday - Friday

Plant Production Supervisor is responsible for managing employees, following quality standards, overseeing the operation, and ensuring company processes and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Plant Manager :

• Monitors FlexXray’s compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards Notify Plant Manager of non-compliant practices.
• On a daily basis, manage, maintain, and implement FlexXray’s Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) Recommend update to Plant Manager.
• On a daily basis, manage, maintain, and implement FlexXray’s Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program Recommend updates to Plant Manager.
• Monitor x-ray and dud detection line compliance with FlexXray’s SSOP and HACCP programs. Coordinate corrective action with the Inspection Line Leads.

• Review inspection reports for quality and conformance to FlexXray’s procedures Turn reports into the front office daily Recommend change(s) to Plant Manager.
• Review inspection line seeds logs for quality and conformance to FlexXray’s procedures. Turn reports into the front office daily - Recommend change(s) to Plant Manager.
• Monitor secure storage of site approved cleaning products. Ensure that Materiel Safety Data (MSD) sheets are posted for each approved product.
• Monitors effectiveness of FlexXray’s Pest Management Program and coordinate service needs with Plant Manager.
• Implement a Deep Cleaning’ schedule for the warehouse perimeter, inspection equipment, forklift, trailers, yard mule, ceiling, and fixtures, etc.

as outlined in FlexXray master cleaning schedule.

• Conduct SSOP and GMP New Hire and Annual Training for : X-ray Operators, Line Leads, and Forklift Operators. Maintain training forms and logs.
• Fill-in’ on the inspection line as needed.
• Responsible for creating Master Folder and Project Folder once truck is scheduled / arrives to our facilities.
• Coordinates with Warehouse Admin to monitor a project’s progress and make sure it is handled properly.
• Plans, schedules, and monitors all work being performed.
• Provides immediate performance feedback as required to resolve employee conflicts and assists in short-term resolution of emergency situations such as safety, attendance, and conduct.
• Makes sure outbound products are acceptable for shipping.
• Responsible to fill in assisting other locations and shifts as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 3-5 years proven experience as production supervisor (Food industry) preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of a regulated manufacturing environment ("Good Manufacturing Practices").
• Good communication skills coupled with good negotiation, planning, scheduling, and people management ability.
• Must be flexible to switch shifts as needed to cover for other supervisors.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual English / Spanish
• Knowledge with 5s methodology.
