As a Planning / Logistics? Analyst you will :
Responsible for various duties and functions that support key day-to-day production planning / scheduling related activities, and shipment coordination.
Interfaces daily with Supervisors and Managers to track and monitor production schedules. Responsible for communicating to both external and internal customer requirements.
Acts as a liaison between internal and external customers resulting in increased customer satisfaction.
- Provides support to Sales team by responding to customer inquiries and assists with customer RFQ’s
- Assists with production schedules using MRP System and Excel spreadsheets.
- Responsible for communicating external and internal customer requirements
- management of customer KPIs to ensure on time delivery of both new products and repairs
- liaison between internal and external customers resulting in increased customer satisfaction
- Responsible for overseeing outgoing international and domestic shipments
This is a temp to perm opportunity.
The ideal Planning / Logistics? Analyst candidate will have :
- 5+ years of experience in production scheduling / planning and understanding of MRP functions, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Experience with networked PC based computer system (spreadsheets, Email, MRP / ERP systems)
- Lean Manufacturing experience : JIT, Kanban and Pull Systems is highly desirable.
- Previous experience expediting products / parts in a manufacturing environment
- Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both positive and negative news
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement.
Payrate : $24 - $28 an hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
