JT's Classic Eats is a small, family owned and operated business in Orlando, FL. We are a 2,500 sq. ft. restaurant located in the Mobil gas station right outside of Disney.

We have 4 tables and a bar along the window for some dine in, but the bulk of our business is take out and delivery. We offer fresh-made pizza, smash burgers, hot dogs, subs, wings, salads, desserts, and much more! We are looking to hire a close-knit group of employees to build and grow our concept.

Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our team. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties : - Prepare and cook food according to recipes and presentation standards. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to high standards of food safety and sanitation.

• Assist with food handling and storage, ensuring that all food products are stored at the correct temperatures. - Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers receive a positive dining experience.
• Manage cash handling and operate a cash register accurately. - Upsell and promote menu items to increase sales and drive revenue growth.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items and ingredients. - Assist with bussing tables and restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient service. Experience : - Previous experience in a food service environment is highly desirable.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential. - Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor, even in a high-stress environment.

Skills : - Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices. - Ability to perform basic math calculations. - Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register.

• Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to provide exceptional customer service and upsell menu items.
• Experience with food preparation and presentation. - Ability to sanitize and maintain a clean kitchen environment. - Familiarity with food service operations and procedures.
