Client Data Integration and Application Deployment Engineer, Global Occupier Services

Role Summary :

The Client Data Integration and Application Deployment Engineer will play a pivotal role in advancing Savills' strategy for integrating and operationalizing technology to enhance our backend data services and application deployments.

Central to this role is the effective management of ETL processes, database administration, and Azure DevOps practices, ensuring high data integrity and seamless application performance across our Knowledge Cubed platform.

As a key technical leader, you will ensure that our data services support Savills' business objectives by providing robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Data Integration : Design, implement, and maintain ETL workflows; oversee comprehensive data integration using SQL Server, Smartsheet, Box, API interfaces, SFTP, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Database Management : Administer databases, manage historical data, and conduct regular system updates to ensure data accuracy.
• Client Data Management : Handle client-specific data projects, providing strategic analysis and ensuring the integrity of client data.
• System and Smartsheet Integration : Manage seamless data synchronization between various systems and Smartsheet to enhance operational efficiency.
• Application Deployment : Lead regular production deployments of our proprietary client analytics application infrastructure on Azure App Services.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks : Undertake sporadic data loading and analytics tasks to support business needs and maintain data system efficiency.
• Collaboration : Work closely with internal data visualization specialists to ensure that data flows meet the needs for client deployments.

Required Skills :

• Advanced proficiency in Alteryx, SQL Server, SQL programming, and Azure App Services.
• Strong foundation in ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling principles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Desirable Skills :

• Additional programming knowledge, particularly in Python.
• Experience with data quality control and integrity checks.
• Understanding of commercial real estate, workplace analytics, and financial data sets.
• Expertise in application deployment using Azure DevOps for CI / CD pipelines.
• Competence in managing and configuring Azure cloud resources.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience in data integration and application deployment, preferably in a real estate, property management, or financial services context.

This includes gaining context for the data sets and how they are used in client deployments.
