A large bank is looking for a Project Manager to join the team for a 12 month contract or longer contract
Locations : Atlanta, GA or Kennesaw / Charlotte, NC / Richmond, VA / Phoenix, AZ
Rate : $53-70 on Apex's W2
Requirements :
- 5 or more years of experience as a technical PM or Program Manager
- previous experience in a large financial institution
- Experience with complex projects experience in a matrixed environment
- Experience with Application Development projects needs to have worked cross functionally with architects, developers, etc
- Waterfall / agile hybrid environment
Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global payments team which provides a wide range of financial platforms and services.
This team is made of core payment business technology functions including Merchant Solutions, Card Issuing, Digital Wallets, Transfers, Liability Payments and Settlement.
This team facilitates the movement of roughly $693 trillion through the processing of approximately 18.8 billion transactions a year to more than 66 million consumer / small business relationships and 2 million wealth management clients.
This team supports End to End Technology for programs and projects. Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery.
Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio / Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program / projects.
Manages multiple projects or a single major project. Typically requires 5 or more years of applicable experience.

- Seasoned PM to manage complex Merchant Services suite of projects. Strong financial management skills required.

- Experience delivering large projects with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications
