Estate Planning Paralegal / Legal Assistant
We are a full-service estate planning and asset protection law firm serving clients through all stages of life. Our small-sized, busy law firm is located in Summerlin and looking for a friendly, professional, and experienced Paralegal or Legal Assistant to become part of our team.
You will provide overall support to Paralegals’, Attorneys’, and Clients’ day-to-day business needs.
Responsibilities :
- Using established forms, prepare drafts of Wills, Trusts and other legal documents for review and signing.
- Record deeds and process post-signing / follow-up tasks.
- Schedule appointments and return client calls.
- Handle information requests from clients and provide help when needed.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone / email / text.
- Maintain and update multiple calendars and confirm or schedule meetings.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, printing postage, mailing, labeling, and online tasks.
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, lists, documents and / or files.
- Collect check and credit card payments.
- Misc. other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills :
- Proven work experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or similar role in Estate Planning.
- Must be proficient in Windows 10 / 11 and with Microsoft Office 365 Suite; primarily : Word, Excel, OneDrive, and Outlook.
- Must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat PDFs and eSignature.
- Experience with using SilverFlume and dealing with Nevada Secretary of State is preferred.
- Must be a Licensed Nevada Notary Public or willing to become one.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. computers, printers, copiers, multi-line phones)
- Friendly demeanor with professional attitude and appearance.
- Ability to be resourceful, proactive, and show composure when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Must be willing and able to receive constructive direction and learn new behaviors or skills.
Workdays Are : Monday- Friday
Monday- Friday
Closed on weekends and holidays.

- Legal Assistant / Paralegal Estate Planning : 5 years Minimum Preferred
- Administrative Assistants or Similar : 3 years Minimum Preferred
Work Location : One location - In Office (Not Remote)
